Brief Summary ( 英語 )

由EOL authors提供

The sengis, or elephant-shrews, are a group of around 18 or 20 small African mammals not closely related to any other group of living mammals, but belonging to a group known as the Afrotheria, which also includes elephants, manatees, hyraxes, aardvarks, golden-moles, and tenrecs. An excellent source of information about sengis is the sengi website maintained by Galen Rathbun at the California Academy of Sciences.
