Above olive colored with pale dorsal stripe and brown warts encircled by black; underside gray with black blotches. Male measured SVL 76 mm (3 in.). Discovered on road when night driving in light rain. When picked up expressed chirping release call. Both live and road-kills seen.
Two adults located; one chunky specimen measured SVL 110 mm (4 in.). Found on dirt and paved roads when night driving. Soil was damp as though it had recently rained. Standing water or creeks not detected in region.
Many seen; one examined was extremely warty and measured SVL 65 mm (2 in.). Detected at night on road in rainy weather. Both live and road-kills seen. Ambystoma californiense and Hyla regilla also found.
