Halorubrum

Pertukaran genetik

Sebuah populasi haloarchaea Halorubrum di lingkungan alami berkonsentrasi garam tinggi sering bertukar informasi genetik melalui rekombinasi.^[1] Populasi ini menunjukkan tingkat hubungan keseimbangan mendekati populasi seksual.

Taksonomi

Dalam taksonomi, Halorubrum adalah genus dari Halobacteriaceae.^[2]
