Strotheria

Strotheria is a genus of flowering plants in the tribe Tageteae within the family Asteraceae.^[2][3]

Species

The only known species is Strotheria gypsophila, native to the State of Nuevo León in northeastern Mexico.^[1][4]

Strotheria gypsophila fue descrita por Billie Lee Turner y publicado en American Journal of Botany 59(2): 180–182, f. 1–6. 1972.^[2]​

Strotheria gypsophila B.L.Turner è una pianta della famiglia delle Asteracee, endemica del Messico nord-orientale. È l'unica specie del genere Strotheria.

Tassonomia

Fa parte della sottotribù Pectidinae, raggruppamento che la classificazione tradizionale colloca all'interno della tribù Heliantheae e che la moderna classificazione filogenetica attribuisce alle Tageteae.^[1][2]
