Arcanumophis

Arcanumophis is a genus of snake in the family Colubridae that contains the sole species Arcanumophis problematicus.^[1] the problem ground snake. It is found in Peru.^[2] This species was previously placed in the genus Erythrolamprus.

Étymologie

Le genre Arcanumophis tire son nom du latin arcanum, « mystérieux », et du grec ancien ὄφις, óphis, « serpent »^[2].
