Justicia floribunda is a species of flowering plant in the acanthus family Acanthaceae, native to Brazil.
It is a dwarf, rounded evergreen shrub growing to 30–60 cm (12–24 in) tall and wide, with downy stems and leaves, and spikes of nodding, tubular flowers of yellow shading to scarlet at the base. Each pair of leaves has one leaf smaller than the other. It requires a frost-free environment, so is often grown under glass in temperate regions.[1] Despite its common name Brazilian fuchsia, it is not closely related to the true fuchsias.
This plant has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.[2][3]

Es un pequeño arbusto perennifolio con las hojas simples, opuestas, elípticas u ovoides, de ápice agudo y margen entero, glabras, con el haz de color verde escuro y el envés algo más claro, con una longitud de 2–5 cm. Las flores se encuentra agrupadas en inflorescencias terminales o axilares y son de color rojo y amarillo. Los frutos son cápsulas dehiscentes.
Justicia floribunda fue descrita por (C.Koch) Wassh. y publicado en Darwiniana 35: 151. 1998.[1]

Justicia floribunda est un arbuste persistant, de petite taille, pouvant atteindre 60 cm de haut, aux feuilles simples, opposées, elliptiques ou ovoïdes. Le limbe foliaire, glabre, long de 2 à 5 cm, à l'apex aigu et aux marges entières, présente une face supérieure vert foncé et une face inférieure légèrement plus claire. Les fleurs, de couleur rouge et jaune, sont groupées en inflorescence terminales ou axillaires. Les fruits sont des capsules déhiscentes.
