Sedum cupressoides Hemsl. Diag. PL Nov. 1 : 11. 1878
Perennial, suffruticose, procumbent, much branched. Flowering branches erect, very slender ; leaves small, 2 mm. long, thic^, ovate, terete, densely appressed, imbricated, obtuse ; flowers sessile, solitary or 2 or 3 at the tops of branches, yellow (but described as rose-colored); calyx 5-lobed, the lobes obtuse; petals 4-5 mm. long; carpels widely spreading in age.
Type locality : Mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Distribution : Oaxaca.
