Lepechiniella is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Boraginaceae.[1]
Its native range is Iran and Western Himalaya, to Xinjiang (in China). It is also found in the countries of Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.[1]
The genus name of Lepechiniella is in honour of Ivan Lepyokhin (1740–1802), a Russian naturalist, zoologist, botanist and explorer.[2] It was first described and published in V.L.Komarov (ed.), Fl. URSS Vol.19 on page 713 in 1953.[1]

Son hierbas perennes o anuales. Cáliz 5-partidos en lóbulos obtusos. Corola ± acampanado con un tubo amplio corto. Núculas diversamente unidas a ginobase, con un margen de alas enteras o dentadas.[2]
El género fue descrito por Mijaíl Popov y publicado en Flora URSS 19: 387, 623. 1953.[2]

Виды рода Лепёхиниелла являются эндемиками Средней Азии.
Многолетние, реже однолетние или двулетние травы. Стебли от 5 до 12 см высотой.
