It is found in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Myanmar, China territories like Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangdong, Hong Kong, Hainan, Guangxi, Hunan, Henan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Japan (northern part of Honshu Island), Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia (Sumatra, Java and Borneo) Philippines.[1]

The larvae feed on Erechtites, Erigeron, Gynura, Picris, and Senecio species.

Вид обитает в Индии, Непале, Китае, Бангладеш, Японии, Таиланде, Малайзии, Индонезии (Суматра, Ява, Борнео), на Шри-Ланке и Филиппинах. В 2015 году впервые найден в Мьянме[1].
Бабочка средних размеров, размах крыльев 36-50 мм. Основной цвет крыльев белый с темно-серым рисунком.
