Chacoa is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae.^[2]^[3]^[4]

There is only one known species, Chacoa pseudoprasiifolia, native to southern Brazil (Santa Catarina State), Paraguay, and northeastern Argentina.^[1]

Chacoa es un género botánico monotípico perteneciente a la familia Asteraceae.^[1] Su única especie: Chacoa pseudoprasiifolia es originaria de Argentina y Uruguay.^[2]

Chacoa pseudoprasiifolia fue descrita por (Hassl.) R.M.King & H.Rob. y publicado en Phytologia 32: 276. 1975.^[3]
