Amphithrix is a genus of snout moths. It was described by Ragonot, in 1893, and contains one species, Amphithrix sublineatella.[1] It is found in Spain, Portugal, France, Corsica, Sicily and Croatia.[2]

The wingspan is 18–24 mm.
Amphithrix is een monotypisch geslacht van vlinders uit de familie snuitmotten (Pyralidae). De wetenschappelijke naam is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1859 door Staudinger.
De enige soort in dit geslacht, Amphithrix sublineatella, komt voor in Europa en heeft een spanwijdte van 18-24mm.
