Neogobius caspius (Eichwald 1831)

Xəzər xulu (lat. Neogobius caspius) — xulkimilər fəsiləsinin bir nümayəndəsidir.

Morfoloji əlamətləri

Bədəni uzunsov olub, quyruğa getdikcə çox nazikləşir. Başının hündürlüyü eninə bərabərdir, başı aşağı əyilmiş şəklindədir, aşağı vəziyyətdə olub, qarın tərəfinin səthi səviyyəsində yerləşir. Ön burun dəlikləri üst dodağa yaxındır. Quyruq üzgəcinin qurtaracağı kəsik şəklindədir. Birinci bel üzgəcində uzunsov ləkə olur. Alnının eni gözünün diametrindən azdır. Daldakı burun dəlikləri gözün ön kənarından uzaqda yerləşir.^[1]

Yayılması

Xəzər xulu Azərbaycan sahillərinin şimal hissəsində - Yalama, Xudat, Xaçmaz və Siyəzən rayonlarında yayılmışdır. Cənuba doğru getdikcə sayı azalır, Kürətrafı rayonunda tək - tək təsadüf edilir.

Çoxalması

Xəzər xulunun maksimal uzunluğu 34.5 sm çatır^[2]. Dişilər 2 ilə qədər, erkəklər isə 3 ilə qədər yaşayır.

The Caspian goby (Neogobius caspius) is a species of fish endemic to the Caspian Sea where it is only found in brackish waters. It is the largest of the Caspian gobies, and at maximum may reach a length of 34.5 centimetres (13.6 in).^[2]

Neogobius caspius is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van grondels (Gobiidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1831 door Eichwald.
