Takifugu porphyreus és una espècie de peix de la família dels tetraodòntids i de l'ordre dels tetraodontiformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 52 cm de longitud total.
• És blanc al ventre.^[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i de clima temperat.^[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Àsia: des del sud de Hokkaido (el Japó) fins al Mar de la Xina Oriental.^{[4][6][7][8][9]}

Observacions

La pell, les gònades, el fetge, els intestins i la sang contenen una toxina mortal, però, tot i així, és consumit com a aliment al Japó.^[10][11][4]

Takifugu porphyreus,^[1] known as the purple puffer, is a species of pufferfish in the family Tetraodontidae. It is native to the Northwest Pacific, where it ranges from Hokkaido to the East China Sea. It is a demersal species found in the littoral zone that reaches 52 cm (20.5 inches) in total length. While parts of the fish are highly toxic, it is frequently consumed as fugu in Japan.^[2]

Takifugu porphyreus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van kogelvissen (Tetraodontidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1850 door Temminck & Schlegel.

分布

本魚分布于西北太平洋區，包括日本北海道以南、俄羅斯遠東地區、朝鮮半島、中國東海等海域。

特徵

本魚體呈圓筒形，被覆由鱗片特化的細棘；口小。體背深褐色，並有白色的圓斑點散布，腹部白色。胸鰭正後方及背鰭基底各具有一大黑斑。胸鰭、腹鰭淡黃色，背鰭和尾鰭褐色，尾鰭截形，背鰭軟條12至17枚；臀鰭軟條11至15枚，有一條淡黃色細條紋橫貫魚體中央，體長可達52公分。

經濟利用

在日本為食用魚，但其卵巢、肝臟、皮膚、腸子及血液均具有河豚毒素。

マフグ（真河豚、学名：Takifugu porphyreus）はフグ科に属する魚の一種。別名「クロフグ」、「ナメラフグ」、「フグトン」、「メアカ」、「モンツキ」など^[1]。

日本海、東シナ海に分布する^[1]。

特徴[編集]

体長は40cmほどで、トラフグやシマフグよりは小型^[1]。背面は褐色で、臀鰭が黄色を帯びる^[1]。胸鰭後方と背鰭の基部に大きな黒い紋がある^[2]。背鰭は12-17軟条、臀鰭は11-15軟条^[1]。

甲殻類や軟体動物を食べる。

肝臓や卵巣をはじめ、皮や腸、血液にも強毒を持つ^[2]。

食用[編集]

筋肉が食用となる。トラフグやヒガンフグと比べると味が劣るため価格が安い。また、北海道の初山別村ではマフグ漁が盛んで、マフグ料理が村の名物として親しまれている。

稀にムキフグに加工された小さなものが店頭に並ぶこともある^[3]。
