Sterrhoptilus nigrocapitatus (Steere 1890)

The Visayan babbler (Sterrhoptilus nigrocapitatus), formerly conspecific with the Calabarzon babbler, is a species of bird in the family Zosteropidae. It is endemic to the Philippines. It is found on Samar, Leyte and Bohol.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.

El timalí coroninegro (Sterrhoptilus nigrocapitatus)^[2]​ es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Zosteropidae endémica de Filipinas.

Distribución y hábitat

Se extiende por el norte y este del archipiélago filipino, distribuido por la isla de Luzón y las Bisayas orientales y centrales. Su hábitat natural son los bosques húmedos tropicales.
