St. Lucia, Lesser Antilles; evidently restricted to the low elevation periphery of all but the extreme northern tip and the southern third of the island (McDiarmid et al. 1999).
Syntypes: MCZ R4812, MCZ R4814, and MCZ R4815 (McDiarmid et al. 1999).
Type-locality: "St. Lucia."
