General Description

The forewing is dull yellow to grey with fine brown reticulations. Darker brown shading forms a faint median band and apical patch most visible near the costa. The hindwing is white and slightly more greyish on the anal half of the wing. It is similar to A. alleniana and can be separated by characters of the male genitalia (Obraztsov 1959).

Aphelia koebelei is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae first described by Obraztsov in 1959. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Alberta and the Northwest Territories east to Newfoundland. It has also been recorded in Washington.
The forewings are dull yellow to grey with fine brown reticulations (net-like lines). The hindwings are white.

Insecten Aphelia koebelei is een vlinder uit de familie van de bladrollers (Tortricidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1959 door Obraztsov.
