Barbodes colemani^[2][3] is a species of cyprinid fish. It is endemic to Thailand^[4] and restricted to the upper Chao Phraya River basin. It is an uncommon species that inhabits streams and river tributaries, occasionally the mainstreams.^[1] Its placement in the genus Barbodes is not universally accepted and the Catalog of Fishes places this species in the genus Discherodontus.^[3]

Barbodes colemani is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de eigenlijke karpers (Cyprinidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1937 door Fowler.
