Epiphytic, occasionally lithophytic,
herbs. Pseudobulbs 0. Stems with persistent leaf bases.
Leaves distichous, conduplicate, linear to oblong,
unequally 2-lobed at apex. Inflorescences arched or pendent. Flowers usually
white, turning apricot as they age. Sepals and petals free, ± similar. Lip entire or 3-lobed; spur pendent with a narrow mouth. Rostellum 2-fid.

Rangaeris (Schltr.) Summerh., 1936 è un genere di piante della famiglia Orchidaceae, diffuso nella zona tropicale dell'Africa.[1]
Descrizione
Sono orchidee epifite o occasionalmente litofite, con foglie lineari-oblunghe di consistenza carnosa. L'infiorescenza, pendente, raggruppa numerosi fiori di colore bianco, virante verso il giallo a maturità, con labello intero o trilobato, dotato di una sperone di lunghezza variabile a seconda delle specie.[2]
Distribuzione e habitat
Il genere è ampiamente diffuso nell'Africa subsahariana.[1]
