Voorkoms en habitat
Die vis is silwer van kleur met vyf opvallende vertikale swart strepe op 'n silwerwit lyf. Dit kan tot 50 cm lank word en weeg dan 6.3 kg. Hy kom voor in rotsriwwe en word in onstuimige witwater gevang.

Morfología
• Los machos pueden llegar alcanzar los 60 cm de longitud total.[1]
Alimentación
Come peces, moluscos, crustáceos, gusanos y otros organismos.
Distribución geográfica
Se encuentra en las costas occidentales del Océano Índico (sur de Mozambique y Sudáfrica ).
