Euriphene abasa, the black nymph, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in eastern Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Équateur).[2] The habitat consists of wet forests.

Euriphene abasa is een vlinder uit de onderfamilie Limenitidinae van de familie Nymphalidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1866 door William Chapman Hewitson.
