Galeosoma vernayi est une espèce d'araignées mygalomorphes de la famille des Idiopidae[1].
Distribution
Cette espèce se rencontre au Botswana, en Namibie et en Afrique du Sud au Cap-du-Nord[2].
Étymologie
Cette espèce est nommée en l'honneur d'Arthur Stannard Vernay (1877–1960).

Galeosoma vernayi is een spinnensoort in de taxonomische indeling van de valdeurspinnen (Idiopidae).[1]
Het dier behoort tot het geslacht Galeosoma. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1935 door J. Hewitt.
