Ischnothele caudata is a spider in the family Ischnothelidae, found from Mexico to Brazil. It was first described in 1875 by Anton Ausserer.[1][2] Ausserer did not explain the choice of specific name,[2] but the Latin word caudatus means 'tailed'.[3]

Cette espèce se rencontre au Mexique au Yucatán et au Quintana Roo, au Guatemala, au Honduras, au Nicaragua, au Costa Rica, au Panama, à Saint-Vincent, à Trinité-et-Tobago, au Venezuela, en Colombie, en Équateur et au Brésil au Roraima[1],[2].
La carapace du mâle holotype mesure 4,56 mm de long sur 3,99 mm[2].
