Dypsis scandens is a species of flowering plant in the family Arecaceae. The species is native to Eastern Madagascar in the area of Ifanadiana.^[1][2]

Dypsis scandens – gatunek palmy z rzędu arekowców (Arecales). Występuje endemicznie na Madagaskarze, w prowincji Fianarantsoa. Znane jest tylko jedno jego naturalne stanowisko^[2].

Rośnie w bioklimacie wilgotnym. Występuje na wysokości do 500 m n.p.m.^[2]
