This is a sciapodine dolichopodid I've found in Baos, Andes of Ecuador.Zachary Dankowicz identified it as an Amblypsilopus of the maculata group.Any species group must be based on a binomial. But Google gives me zero results searching by "Amblypsilopus maculata" and just one result by "Amblypsilopus maculatus" (that would be the logic spelling since Amblypsilopus is masculine).Any idea of how I must call this critter?
