Description: Very similar to Fendlerella and Philadelphus (Hydrangeaceae) but with a unique combination of linear leaves, petals that narrowly taper to the base, 12 or fewer stamens each with two narrow appendages parallel to the anthers, and with an oval to conical fruit measuring more than 8 mm long.
