Description: English: This is a closer view of part of a scanned herbarium specimen of the Lord Howe Island endemic shrub Cassinia tenuifolia (Asteraceae) (see adjacent image). Collection info as follows: "Game 69/282 Shrub with rough grey bark, leaves green above, silvery beneath; about 2 metres high. On rocky ground, about 100 yards from the sea at the mouth of Rocky Run. Common in most parts of the Island in exposed places and near the coast". Dupl. at Kew, cited in the Flora of Australia Vol. 49. p378.
