Description: English: This photomicrograph of a wet-mounted vaginal discharge specimen, revealed numbers of Trichomonas vaginalis protozoan parasites, leading to a diagnosis of trichomoniasis, which is a very common sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the protozoan, T. vaginalis.
