Asphodelus aestivus is a species of perennial herb in the family Asphodelaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mexico. They have simple, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Old World Swallowtail, Eucera parnassia, Meliscaeva auricollis, and Eucera seminuda.
