Micropterix rablensis

provided by wikipedia EN

Micropterix rablensis is a species of moth belonging to the family Micropterigidae, which was described by Philipp Christoph Zeller in 1868.[1] It is probably restricted to Carinthia in Austria and to the adjacent areas of Styria in Austria and Italy and potentially of Slovenia. Its Croatian, Romanian and French existence is doubtful.[2]

Adults have been found at outskirts of forest with tall herbaceous vegetation and bushes, congregating on goat's beard (Aruncus dioicus).[3]

The forewing length is 3–3.4 millimetres (0.12–0.13 in) for males and 3.25–3.8 millimetres (0.128–0.150 in) for females.
