Inga edulis (Icecreambean) is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Acre (Brazil), Amazônia, Bahia, Caatinga, Amapá, Pará, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, RondôNia, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Roraima, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, and ParaíBa. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Amazilia brevirostris, Reddish Hermit, Black Jacobin, and Amazilia fimbriata. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
