Elephantopus mollis (Soft Elephantsfoot) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Maranhao, Alagoas, SãO Paulo, Piauí, Roraima, Tocantins, Caatinga, Pantanal, Amapá, Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Ceará, Pernambuco, RondôNia, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, Sergipe, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Pampa, GoiáS, Puerto Rico, Amazônia, Cerrado, Bahia, ParaíBa, Mato Grosso, Pará, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Acre (Brazil), Rio De Janeiro, Distrito Federal, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Individuals can grow to 0.34 m.
