Liatris cylindracea (Ontario Blazing Star) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Leonard's skipper, Monarch, Vanessa cardui, and Lyssavirus rabies. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
