Monoptilon bellioides (Mojave Desertstar) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Ammophila aphrodite.
