Podocnemis erythrocephala (Red Headed Amazon River Turtle) is a species of turtles in the family Podocnemididae. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are found in The Neotropics. They are diurnal. They have sexual reproduction.
