Resupinatus campanulatus (Peck) Murrill
Pleurotus campanulatus Peck, Ann. Rep. N. Y. State Mus. 44: 131 (IQ). 1891.
Pileus thin, subtenacious, campanulate, attached by the vertex, which is sometimes prolonged into a short stipe, 2-4 mm. broad; surface black, glabrous or sprinkled with a few grayish hairs, often plicate-striate on the margin; lamellae few, distant, whitish; spores curved, smooth, hyaline, 7.5-8.5X3.5-4^.
Type locality. Saugerties, New York. Habitat: On dead branches of mulberry. Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
