Stem erect, 60-100 cm, velutinous. Stipules lateral, free, 5-7 mm long, pilose at the base. Leaf pinnately trifoliolate, petiole 8-20 mm long, pubescent. Petiolule c. 1 mm long, pubescent; lamina 1.0-2.6 cm long, 5-17 mm broad, obovate, elliptic to broadly elliptic, entire, obtuse, mucronate, pilose on both sides, sometimes velvety below. Inflorescence a sessile umbel in leaf axil or in the terminal portion, a raceme of sessile or sometimes pedunculate umbels or condensed racemes. Bracts 1.5-2.0 mm, pubescent. Pedicel c. 1 mm. Calyx c. 7-8 mm long, hirsute, teeth 4-4.5 mm long. Vexillum c. 9 mm long, Fruit 3-3.5 mm long, c. 0.3 mm broad, villous.
