Desmodium scorpiurus (Scorpion Tick Trefoil) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a procumbent growth form. They are native to Pará, Acre (Brazil), U.S. Virgin Islands, Cerrado, Caatinga, Amazônia, Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Bahia, GoiáS, RondôNia, Roraima, and Mato Grosso.
