Stylosanthes guianensis (Common Stylo) is a species of shrub in the family Fabaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Amazônia, Distrito Federal, Pampa, Ceará, Pernambuco, Caatinga, Rio Grande do Norte, Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Maranhao, Sergipe, Amapá, Tocantins, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Cerrado, Amazônia, Pará, Rio de Janeiro, Mato Grosso, São Paulo, Piauí, Paraná, Paraná, Maranhao, Ceará, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Alagoas, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Espirito Santo, Alagoas, Cerrado, Caatinga, São Paulo, Espirito Santo, Distrito Federal, Sergipe, Pantanal, Pará, Rio de Janeiro, Goiás, Roraima, Amazônia, Bahia, Minas Gerais, and Paraíba. Common Stylo has compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Nomia. Common Stylo fixes nitrogen. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.47 m.
