Aeschynomene paniculata (Pannicle Jointvetch) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amazônia, Amapá, Ceará, Sergipe, Roraima, Acre (Brazil), Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Pantanal, Rio De Janeiro, Tocantins, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Pará, Paraná, GoiáS, Piauí, Mato Grosso, RondôNia, Distrito Federal, and Caatinga. They have compound, broad leaves.
