A perennial with a creeping rootstock ; stem erect or adsurgent, 3-6 dm. high branching glabrous sSy glandular dotted; leaves digitately 5-7-foliolate; stipules 2mm long petLles 2cm. long; leaflets 5-8 cm. long, linear to filiform, with a few scattered gland, peduncle; 5-7 cm. long; racemes lax, 2-5 cm. long, few-flowered; bracts mmute ova e, cusp.date caTyx sparingly "s'trigose, enlarging in fruit; tube 1.5 mm >ong sparmgly ^ndifla ounctate beneathtwo uppermost lobes broadly ovate, acute, 1 mm. long, the lateral ones Zte lanceoS, slightly longer, the lowest one subulate, fully 2 mm. long; corolla blue; pod 1 cm. long, glandular; seed kidney-shaped, brown.
