Potentilla norvegica (Norwegian Cinquefoil) is a species of annual herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Tropidia quadrata, small white, and Least Skipper. Individuals can grow to 0.46 m.
