European Michaelmas Daisy

Aster amellus (European Michaelmas Daisy) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Speyeria cybele pseudocarpenteri, Two-Striped Grasshopper, Marsh Hoverfly, and White-tailed bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 0.31 m.
