Cystopteris fragilis (Brittle Bladderfern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Cystopteridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Greenland, Alaska, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.18 m. They have alternation of generations.
