A tree with glabrous foliage. Leaflets 6-S, oblong to lanceolate, shining above, acute or short-acuminate, 3-8 cm. long, the base obtuse, the lateral venation inconspicuous; inflorescence few-flowered, 5-9 cm. long; fruiting pedicels 4-5 mm. long; legume a little longer than wide, 5-7 cm. long, thin, densely fulvous-tomentulose, somewhat rugose, 1-seeded.
Type locality: Finca San Nicolas. El Salvador. Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
