Three paratype of this species (USNM E 10865, USNM E 10867, USNM E 10875) were collected from Panama (see type material). Additionally this species has been collected in Panama from East of Valiente Peninsula (USNM E 12216; Centroid Latitude: 9.2133, Centroid Longitude: -81.7833) from a depth range of 46 to 47 m.
