Lygodium microphyllum (Small Leaf Climbing Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family climbing ferns. It is a climber. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Lygodium microphyllum is native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Tanzania, Liberia, India, Asia, Papua New Guinea, Africa, China, Taiwan, Burundi, Gabon, Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, Senegal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ghana, Kenya, Brunei, Japan, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Micronesia, the Philippines, Angola, Malaysia, Cameroon, Australia, Uganda, Thailand, Zambia, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. It is a photoautotroph.
