Urtica urens (Small Nettle) is a species of annual herb in the family Urticaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Vanessa gonerilla, Adalia deficiens, and Monarch. Individuals can grow to 0.31 m.
