Viola pedatifida (Prairie Violet) is a species of perennial herb in the family Violaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Zodion obliquefasciatum, Sciara atrata, Mallota posticata, and Astata bicolor.
