Acer negundo (Box Elder) is a species of tree in the family Sapindaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Western North America, United States, Canada, North America, Eastern North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 60 feet.
