Chaenactis fremontii (Pincushion Flower) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Master Blister Beetle, Red-eared Blister Beetle, Thyridanthrax melanopterus, and Noctueliopsis aridalis. Individuals can grow to 4 dm.
